The Viscardi Center offers a variety of services for businesses - from assisting employers in hiring qualified people with disabilities to an employer membership organization and a state-of-the-art conference and production facility for meetings, conferences and training.

Employment Placement Services

Our dedicated team of professionals carefully prescreens job candidates, who are initially entering or re-entering the workforce, to ensure their skills meet or exceed the qualifications and needs of the hiring companies. Our highly skilled candidates, with visible and non-visible disabilities, are qualified for positions at all corporate levels – from entry level to management to skilled laborers and certified professionals. Experts in the employment placement field, we are keenly aware of today’s evolving work environment and can assist companies of all industries and sizes, including federal contractors and subcontractors, in complying with ever changing hiring and workplace regulations.

Document Accessibility Remediation Services

The Viscardi Center’s Document Accessibility Remediation Services assist businesses in creating or converting existing documents, including PDFs, into materials that are Section 508 compliant and can be accessed by people with visual and physical disabilities, as well as aging individuals. Viscardi Multimedia Learning Center

The Viscardi Multimedia Learning Center, our new state-of-the-art, fully accessible conference and production facility is available for rent. Perfect for meetings, conferences and training sessions, it also offers on array of on-site services, including catering, video/audio production, editing, CD/DVD duplication, event photography, and graphic design. National Business & Disability Council at The Viscardi Center

The National Business & Disability Council (NBDC) at The Viscardi Center is an employer organization and comprehensive resource for disability best practices. Its corporate partners are predominantly Fortune 1000 companies and government employers committed to disability diversity. By becoming a NBDC Corporate Partner, companies can proactively strengthen and diversify their workforce as well as comply with the requirements of the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) and other federal regulations. NBDC can also assist companies in marketing to the 56.7 million Americans with disabilities, as well as gain greater insight into the economic contributions that accessible information and communication technology provides to companies.
