Changing Font Sizes
• On your browser menu, select View.
(Note - IE7 ONLY * if you do not have a menu bar showing on your browser, select the Tools Dropdown Menu on the upper right side of your brower and click on Menu Bar. You will now have a Menu Bar on your browser.)
• On the View Menu, there is an item called 'Text Size'.
When you move your mouse cursor over 'Text Size', you will see a number of selections for the size text you would like displayed on your browser. Select the text size you want to use and the text in your browser will change to either increase or decrease your text size.
Changing Accessibility Options
• Select Tools from either the Menu Bar or the Tools Dropdown.
• Select Internet Options.
The last Topic on the Internet Options Box, is Appearance. Appearance has four (4) buttons on it. Colors, Languages, Fonts and Accessibility.
Colors allows you to customize the default colors of the following items in your browser.
1. Text - Clicking on the box next to the word Text will bring up a color picker. The color that you select will become the color for all plain text on any site that specifies a color for their site.
2. Background - Clicking on the box next to the word Text will bring up a color picker. The color that you select will become the color for the background of any site that specifies a color for the page background.
3. Visited - Clicking on the box next to the word Text will bring up a color picker. The color that you select will become the color for all links that have been visited.
4. Unvisited - Clicking on the box next to the word Text will bring up a color picker. The color that you select will become the color for all links that have not yet been visited.
5. Hover (only if you click the User Hover Color box) - Clicking on the box next to the word Text will bring up a color picker. The color that you select will become the color for all links as you move your mouse pointer over them.
Languages allows you to add, remove or reorder the language that will be used on your browser.
Fonts will allow you to change the default font that will be used for any web page that has no font type specified.
Accessibility has four selections on it.
6. Ignore colors specified on webpages - When checked, this will cause any color that has been assigned to text, etc., to be ignored.
7. Ignore font styles specified on webpages - When checked, this will cause all text to be displayed in the browser specified default font.
8. Ignore font sizes specified on webpages - When checked, all text will be displayed in the default text size of the browser.
9. User style sheet - When checked, this tells the browser to use a set of instructions defined by the user to determine things such as font type, font size, font color, background color, etc.

Changing Font Size
• On your browser Menu Bar, Click on the View Menu.
• On the View Menu is an item labeled Text Size. When you moust over this label you will see three (3) options. Increase (Ctrl+), Decrease(Ctrl-) and Normal(Ctrl+0).
1. Increase (Ctrl+) - You can either click the Increase Menu Item or use the Ctrl & + key at the same time to Increase the size of the text your are viewing.
2. Decrease (Ctrl-) - You can either click the Decrease Menu Item or use the Ctrl & - key at the same time to Decrease the size of the text your are viewing.
3. Normal (Ctl0) - If you wish to return the text size back to the defaults that have been set for the browser, or for the text size specified for the page, either click the Normal Menu Item or user the Ctrl & 0 (zero) key at the same time.
Setting Accessibility Options
• Click on View, Page Style.
If you choose No Style, all style sheets associated with this page will be turned off by the browser and you will have a page that displays without all of the styling that was applied to the page.
If you choose Basic Page Style (this is the default), then any style sheets that are associated with this page will be applied.
• Click on Tools, Options and select the Content Icon.
Fonts & Colors
1. Default Font - Allows you to set the font in your browser to a specific font if there is no font specified in the page, or, if you turn off style sheets.
2. Size - sets the default font size
3. Advanced
• Fonts for - allows you to set various font options. The checkbox at the bottom specifies that if a web page specifies fonts, that the once requested by the web page should be used, not the ones that have been selected above.
Colors
4. Text and Background - Permits you to select a specific default color for both the page background and the fonts.
5. Link Colors - Permits you to select your own colors for Unvisited Links or Visited Links. You can also choose to have your links underlined or not.
6. Allows pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above - This says that if checked, if a web page specifies colors that are different from mine, that the colors specified for the web page should be used.
